One of our current projects is to locate and document all Scioto County Cemeteries. While doing this, we are also taking pictures and transcribing all visible burials. These pages will be updated as new information is obtained.

History of Lower Scioto Valley, 1884. Reprinted 2000. Together with sketches of its cities, villages and townships, educational, religious, civil, military and political history, portraits of prominent persons and biographies of representative citizens. An 875 page hardbound book with an additional 110 pages of selected index of names. A truly wonderful book for the family researcher and/or the history buff. This book, written in 1884, includes information for the counties of Scioto, Jackson and Pike. There are biographical sketches of 795 individuals and 39 pages of illistrations of individuals and county maps.
